Floating Drum Type Skimmer
The floating drum type skimmer operates on the principle of selective adhesion of oil to an oleophilic rotating drum surface. The system removes free floating oil - it can be neem oil, hydrocarbons or grease. We have supplied neem oil separtor to RFCL and HURL which are fertilizer industries. The unit consists of a floating frame with buoyancy pontoons, a rotating drum, and a scraper assembly. The system is designed to continuously remove floating oil from water surfaces such as tanks, lagoons, pits, or ETP basins.The system operates in the temperature range of 10-80 degree celsius and in atmospheric pressure.
